Catcher Josh Paul agreed Sunday to a minor league contract with the Houston Astros and will report to Triple-A Round Rock. Paul has played with the White Sox, Cubs, Angels and Devil Rays during a nine-year major league career. He has a career average of .244 with 10 homers and 73 RBIs. Last season he batted .190 with a homer and nine RBIs in 35 games for Tampa Bay.
