The Houston Astros interviewed Los Angeles Dodgers assistant general manager Logan White on Friday, the seventh man to meet with the team about their vacant general manager job. The Astros will interview more candidates next week. Owner Drayton McLane fired Tim Purpura and manager Phil Garner on Aug. 27 and said he wanted to have a new GM in place by the end of this season.
