Shortstop Adam Everett agreed Thursday to a $2.8 million, one-year contract with the Houston Astros and outfielder Jason Lane settled for a $1.05 million, one-year deal. Everett hit .239 with six homers and a career-high 59 RBIs last year. He committed only seven errors, and his .990 fielding percentage ranked fourth for an NL shortstop in a season.
